Tinchy Stryder to perform at the Middlesbrough College

Around four thousand people are expected to be a part of a college’s very first music and community festival on Thursday. Headline acts of the event include urban rapper Tinchy Stryder as well as up and coming bands such as Subsource and The Struts and will also play in the evening.

Along with music; there is fairground rides for both adults and kids, a hog roast, over sixty stalls as well as all the general fun of the fair at this festival. Event organizer and marketing manager Andy Williams stated that the college that has four thousand full time students as well as ten thousand part time students, has a very long history of sponsoring top Middlesbrough community events such as the Cleveland Show and the Mela.

He told that the thinking was they should host their own show, to offer something to their community. They were really excited to have got such great acts in their 1st year, but they wanted there to be something for everyone - for the whole family.”

There will be enrolment tents at the event. To know more regarding the Middlesbrough College on Dock Street, please log on to - mbro.ac.uk or dial 01642 333333.
