Graham Norton speaks about hosting the Eurovision

Well, he has interviewed some of the top stars of Hollywood and also rubbed shoulders with showbiz elites, but BBC’s Graham Norton has admitted that hosting the Eurovision Song Contest would be one of the top challenges of his career.

The fifty one year old man told that he absolutely loved doing the Eurovision commentary ever since Terry Wogan handed him the mantle in the year 2009. He feels a sense of ownership and pride. I does not know how he would feel if he was asked to present the whole thing, though. People do not call up the good hosts. It is the winning tracks as well the terrible hosts whom people remember.

However, Graham Norton get a taste for fronting the event later this week as he hits the helm of a big BBC1 gig to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Eurovision.

Eurovision’s Greatest Hits would happen at the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith in London next week and it would feature an array of performances to relish the colorful history of the contest. Petra Mede will be the co-host of the show.

Earlier Mede presented the show in Sweden. He told that he is happy about that fact that for the very first time in his life he would share the stage with another person.

He told that he would not be standing I the wings o his own thinking. He is really looking forward ot do this. They have got lots f various winners from the past performing.
